Scope
A bonded warehouse holding imported dried goods found live stored-product beetles during a routine inspection. Stock could not be moved before the next shipment.
Treatment
The building was sealed, placarded and treated with phosphine over a 72-hour exposure. Concentration was logged every six hours from four monitoring lines.
Result
Clearance below 0.3 ppm was recorded at all points on day four. No live insects were found at the follow-up inspection two weeks later.
